Todo Pro for Android on Google Play
by Calvin Gaisford on May 22, 2013

Yesterday we released Todo Pro for Android to Google Play in open beta.
When we launched the Todo Pro service back in November of 2012 we quickly realized most groups and small businesses using Todo Pro were in mixed device environments. We had a lot of requests to build an Android version. With some excellent help from volunteers in beta testing the product, we're pleased to release a stable beta to the public on Google Play.
In developing the Todo Pro for Android, we've tried to make it feel like it belongs on Android. At the same time we've brought along all of the great tools, power, shortcuts, and experience that make Todo Pro so great. Android devices come in many different shapes and forms and with a lot of different options. We've tried to support most of the devices so you can use it if you have a device running Android 2.1 Eclair or newer. This is still beta software, but we feel it's ready to use with your day-to-day tasks. We want to make sure it gets full exposure to all of the devices that will be running it.
One other note. We may be veterans on Apple's App Store but we're new to Google Play. Help us out by sharing your excitement in a review. The reviews will help boost the search of Todo Pro for Android and give it more exposure on Google Play.
A special thanks to all our Beta users. You were a huge help!
New Appigo Sync for Windows for Outlook Customers Now Available
Mon, 03/18/2013 - 09:22.by Boyd Timothy on March 19, 2013
One of the challenges we face with releasing apps on the App Store is that there's not a clear way to communicate with all of our customers about changes in the products. We add important information to the "What's New" section on the App Store, but beyond that, there's not much that's readily available to everyone. The unfortunate problem with this mechanism is that it happens after changes to our apps have already been made.
For those of you who follow us on Facebook or Twitter, we announced our plans to retire Appigo Sync back in November of 2012. Because we received very little feedback about this announcement, we made a decision to move forward with the plan to retire Appigo Sync in the latest update of Todo.
Now that the update is available to everyone, we're getting an entirely new set of feedback directly and indirectly (via app reviews). We realize that we were wrong. It appears that Appigo is one of the last companies (if not the very last) to provide a task sync solution to Outlook users on Windows.
We have released a new version of Appigo Sync for Windows for anyone who wishes to sync their tasks with Outlook. It's available at the bottom of the Todo page on our website (www.appigo.com/todo).
There are a number of reliable and very good sync options for syncing tasks with Todo for Mac (Todo Pro, Dropbox, iCloud, and direct Wi-Fi), so we're not planning on bringing Appigo Sync for Mac back.
Thank you for your understanding and feedback. Please connect with us on Facebook and Twitter to provide us better feedback in the future.
We've got lots of great things planned for Todo this year. Stay tuned!

Todo Pro for Android - First Closed Beta
Mon, 02/04/2013 - 07:47.by Boyd Timothy on February 4, 2013
The Todo Pro for Android app is coming along very nicely. We haven't added every feature yet, but you can now sync, view, and use your tasks on Android now!
One of our biggest motivations to build the Android app is to help groups of people (teams) work more efficiently with Todo Pro. As much as we love the iOS and Mac platforms, teams throughout the world have people with various mobile devices and we want Todo Pro to work well for everyone.
If you signed up for exclusive access to the Todo Pro for Android "Beta" versions, we promised to give you first-hand access to the beta builds. You should have a new email with a link where you can download the beta.
Note: If you would like to get the link to the next beta build of Todo Pro for Android, make sure you sign up: https://www.todopro.com/android

How soon should we build the Todo Pro for Android app?
Mon, 01/07/2013 - 13:58.by Boyd Timothy on January 7, 2013

Happy New Year, and thank you to everyone that's joined us already on the new Todo Pro service!
We've been getting a lot of great requests for features you'd like to see in Todo Pro, and we've added some of them already. There are a lot more we'd like to add, and we're going to be asking for your votes to help us determine which ones are most important to you (watch for that post later this week).
In the meantime, we've also mentioned that an Android app for Todo Pro is coming soon. The progress on the app is coming along well. Most of the core synchronization is implemented, and we've been able to put a basic user interface on top of that (Calvin's giving us a sneak peek in the photo above). We're still hoping to put a beta version in your hands soon.
Because of our relatively small development team, we'd like you to help us determine where to focus our efforts in the next few weeks. Should we focus first on adding some important features/fixes to the existing Todo Pro apps and service, or should we charge forward on the Android app? Let us know your vote, and be among the first to know when the Todo Pro for Android app is available by clicking the button below and signing up:
