Searching Tasks

You can search for tasks in Todo from both the Lists view and the Tasks view. Simply select the search toolbar item (magnifying glass) in either view and the search view will slide up into view.

Begin entering in what you are searching for and Todo will search the name and notes of all tasks and display the results.

To see the full list without the keyboard, select the Search button on the keyboard. The list will allow you to select tasks and use them like any other list. If you make changes to the task that no longer match the search terms, the task will be removed from the search list.

The number of tasks in a Project or Checklist will change to show only the subtasks that match the entered search words. Selecting a Project or Checklist will show a search filtered list of subtasks. Select the blue detail disclosure button to see the full set of subtasks.
