Todo Task Alerts leverage Apple's Push Notification Service and provide a way to send a reminder to an iPhone or iPod touch device that has an active connection to the Internet. Todo Task Alerts are configurable and allow the user to customize when and how they are alerted of an approaching task's due time.

Prerequisites for Todo Task Alerts are:

• iPhone OS 3.0 or later installed on either an iPhone or iPod touch
• Todo or Todo Lite 3.0 or later
• NOTE: Todo 3.0 is a free upgrade to existing Todo customers
• A non-jailbroken device
• An active connection to the Internet, either via a cellular data network or Wi-Fi
• Configured and verified Todo Alerts settings
• Tasks with due date and due time values set
• If Todo is configured with a synchronization service, only task data synchronized with Todo will be registered for alerts

Setting up Todo Task Alerts:

• Open Todo
• Select Settings | Alerts
• Enter your Name and Email information and then tap on the Save button
• After saving your settings you will be sent a verification email
• In the verification email click on the provided link to activate the Todo Task Alerts service

Configuring Todo Task Alerts:

• Amount of time before a task's due time is reached
• Alert sound
• Additional configuration information
