Creating Lists with Todo

Tasks can pile up, and the reality is that you can’t do everything you think of, or what everyone wants you to do. You need to take charge and decide what’s important. Lists help you organize your tasks. Todo has two kinds of lists: built-in lists, and personalized lists.
 

Built-in Lists

 
These four lists are always available for you:
 

  • All Tasks: This is a gathering place for all your tasks in one big list. It doesn’t matter what list the task is on, you can see it in here. All of them. It’s helpful to look here when you’re thinking about all of the things that you could possibly do. Of course, you’ll pick just a few of these tasks to work on next.
  • Focus List: This list helps you work on the tasks that matter most in the next few hours. This is one of the best ways to be productive. By default it will show you all the items that are overdue, or due today.
  • Starred Tasks: There are important tasks that aren’t urgent. Marking these tasks with a star helps you to keep track. The Starred list lets you see all of the important tasks.
  • Inbox: This is a catch-all for all of those unhandled tasks. Lots of members use this as a way to hurry and get things out so they don’t forget and then come back to organize them later.

 

Personalized Lists

 
Yep, it is just like it sounds. These are the lists that you create and give a name to. You can name them anything you would like. For example, you could create a ‘Honey Do’ list or a ‘Wish List.’ These personalized lists are all together in one place. But remember you can see all these tasks, when they fall in the categories above, despite the list they are created in.
 

Lists with Todo for iOS:

Create Lists

  • Go to the main view where you will see all of you lists listed
  • Tap the “+” button in the bottom left corner
  • Tap Save
  • Choose a color, icon, and if you want to invite others to share this list you can do that too
  • Tap Done

 
Deleting Lists:

  • Go to the main view
  • Swipe right to left over the list name

 

Lists with Todo for Mac:

Create Lists

  • Click File > New > List
  • Give your list a name and click Create
  • On the new list Click the “i” icon to choose a color, icon, and share
  • Click Done

 
Deleting Lists:

  • Go to the main view
  • Right click on the list you’d like to delete
  • Click Delete

 

Lists with Todo for Web:

Create Lists

  • Login to your account on todo-cloud.com
  • Click “Create a List +” on the left side below your existing lists
  • Give your list a name and click OK
  • On the new list Click the little gears icon to choose a color, icon, and share

 
Deleting Lists:

  • Hover your mouse over the list you want to delete
  • Click the little gears icons
  • Click Delete
