What happens to contexts, tags, and repeating schedules when I sync to iCal?
When you sync tasks from Todo to iCal, all of the data in the tasks is saved however iCal does not display all of the data. Below you can find specific information about each type of data in a task.
Calendars
iCal Calendars will synchronize to lists in Todo. You can assign tasks to Calendars in iCal and they will be assigned to those lists in Todo after synchonizing.
Inbox
The first time you launch Appigo Sync, a new calendar will be created named Inbox. This calendar will be used to sync the Inbox from Todo. You can rename the Inbox calendar to another name, but it will continue to sync to the Inbox list in Todo. If you delete the Inbox calendar in iCal, Appigo Sync will create a new Inbox calendar to sync with Todo.
Repeating Tasks
Todo has the ability to set a repeating schedule on a task. When you complete a task with a repeating schedule, the task will be completed and a copy of the task will be created and scheduled according to the repeat schedule. iCal does not support repeating tasks. The repeating schedules are synced and saved when using Appigo Sync but they will not be visible or editable in iCal. If you make changes in iCal to a task, the repeat schedule will not be effected. If you complete a task in iCal that has a repeating schedule it will be marked as complete and will not repeat.
Contexts and Tags
Todo supports contexts and tags on tasks which are not supported in iCal. Contexts and tags are synchronized by Appigo Sync and will be preserved even through edits in iCal, but the contexts and tags are not visible or editable in iCal.
